Guiding Question-

 

What are the negative effects of having a large population with a large amount of trash and traffic? I chose to show this by clearly highlighting the subject as the central focus of the image with very minimal distractions. 

My sustained investigation aims to show the negative social and environmental aspects of an urban lifestyle. Through social media, urban lifestyles are very glorified, and do not always depict certain aspects of it. I would portray such issues as inadequate water supply, overcrowding, pollution, and crime. For this mini SI, I decided to focus on both trash and traffic found in cities. I wanted to implement the bokeh effect on traffic images and have limited color in the images of trash.
